Mercer Family Resource Center provides family and parenting education, adult and youth intervention, and community connections that are proactive, impactful, and accessible to anyone in the community!
Each year Mercer Family Resource Center serves nearly 3,000 individuals through family and parenting classes, early intervention and education programs for youth. We reach another 80% of the population through substance abuse prevention and suicide awareness presentations and campaigns. Our parenting classes include Strengthening Families, Parenting the Love and Logic Way, Make Parenting a Pleasure, The Nurtured Heart Approach and Elevate Couples Education. We also offer case management, counseling, referral services, education programs for drug, alcohol and tobacco/vaping, and youth intervention programs such as Anger Management, Corrective Thinking and Social Emotional Skills. In addition, we are the lead agency for the Youth Empowerment Council and Natrona County Prevention Coalition, as well as the fiscal agent for the Suicide Prevention Task Force and the Natrona County Homeless Student Fund.
